2007 Atmosphere is vital for us
Mr. Pavlovic, first of all, congratulations on the victory! Tell us, your point of view, your thoughts on the match, and about the atmosphere which is presiding around our club at this time? I’m satisfied with the victory. The final outcome which we attained at this time, in this situation, is the most important thing for us. We controlled the pace for the greater portion of the match. Our wish was to employ a fluent game of short passes, which we accomplished and ran with for most of the match. We let off a little bit near the end of the match, with the score 2:1, while in the lead, we got a bit nervous which almost cost us. In the end, when everything is added up, the most important thing is that we qualified for the next round. A few of the referees calls, perhaps weren’t spot on, and a few of our players, if I may say so, succumbed to numerous provocations and received yellow cards which weren’t necessary. I’m very happy, with the desire that I saw in our players, and the atmosphere which in these times is vital for us. What tactics are being planned for the semi-final? We now have a week off, which we will use to plan and prepare, to create an excellent tactic and to once again play quality football, even better football, and to attempt to make it through to the final.

May 9, 2007 April 30, 2007 Starting from May 01, 2007 the location for practices will be: The schedule remains at same. April 28, 2007 Our youngest, newness, team had excellent debut, in today's friendly game. They defeated Toronto West with score 5:4. We must point that this was a first official game for our players except for Luka Milidragovic, Luka Boskovic and Ognjen Belic. In very excited game our team played very well in some moments and wining goal we scored in the last minute. Congratulations to our youngsters and we believe that during period prior to the summer league starts, our players will set up all lines, especially in the defense, and be ready for very successively season n the TSA summer league. PRACTICES SCHEDULE TEAMS UNDER 10 Tuesday 6:30-8:00 Thursday 6:30-8:00 TEAMS OVER 10 Monday 6:30-8:00 Wednesday 6:30-8:00 Friday 6:30-8:00 LOCATION March 17, 2007 THE MASTERS OF HANGAR The Toronto Falcons, team under 11, triumphed on traditional and prestige March tournament in Hangar. Our team once again amazed and fascinated all soccer fans and at the end of the tournament the organizers admitted that they never had better and delightful participant. The results indicate how strong our team was as they won all seven games they played and scored 25 goals while taking only 1. It started with an early victory 1:0 against a strong Italian team: Woodbridge Strikers, after that they defeated Weston Wolves, North Mississauga Panthers, Erin Mills Eagles and Toronto Eagles. It should be pointed out that in five games our defense did not allow a single goal. In semi finals the opponent was the Ajax team who was doing well until 10 minutes before the end when our team scores a very rare, beautiful goal from a splendid combination of the whole team so that the only thing left was for Stefan Nikolic to place the ball in an empty net. The diluted opponent was finished with an effective goal by Luka Belic. In the finals our team played against very motivated Italian team, who was eager to revenge their defeat in the first round. They started strongly and often crossed the line of fair play. The Italians took the lead and then missed a good opportunity after which the adrenalin in our team skyrocketed as in the game against the Cosmos Stars and recognizable eagerness awakes as well as unity and with their vast talent they win 2:1. The golden goals were scored by Tomislav Bakoc and Luka Belic. At the end of the game there was enormous celebration of our team after this huge success, they defeated teams that have 5-6 thousand players in their clubs. We should point out that with the absence of our regular coaches (work obligations) during the first five games our team was successfully led by Goran Bakoc; the semifinal and final game was led by Branko Pavlovic. The team was awarded with a valuable cup and each of the players received a small medal. Congratulations to all our players for fantastic success and lets wish them to win the championship, tournament and the playoffs as well, so this winter will be long remember.
March 09, 2007 February 10, 2007 A word from coach Branko Pavlovic, (taken from Discussion): “Yesterday, on February 9, 2007, I finally completed the list of 250 players as well as the check with the amount of $3,792 and submitted it to the secretary of The Toronto Soccer Association. As a result of our fruitful united action our teams will be able to compete in the coming summer season. I want to use this opportunity to thank you all very much, first of all a big thank you to all the parents for the great effort and collection of all the names as well as for the monetary support. With this action we showed that as a community even with a small donation we can achieve a lot. Right now we will turn to: Ø the completion of roster of competitive teams for the summer season under TSA (well known is the problem or satisfaction of our children going back home over the summer holiday); Ø the organization and preparation of the first club celebration (April 14, 2007); Ø the successful conclusion of our three teams participating in the Hangar Winter League and improvement of form for the playoffs; Thank you!” January 18, 2007 Soccer club Toronto Falcons hosted last evening Serbian White Eagles team. In friendly game and friendly atmosphere, our team U12 and U11 has played relaxing game since result wasn't important and hosted team won with final score 15:13, in very interesting and nice play. It was a very good practice and opportunity for our team to try various combinations and engagement of all lines before upcoming league games. January 15, 2007 Our teams U12 and U11 will host Serbian White Eagles team in the friendly game this Wednesday, January 17, at 7:00pm in GEORGE HARVEY CI gymnasium. Once more, it'll be a good opportunity for players and parents to continue a very friendly relationship. January 04, 2007 FINALS ESCAPED IN THE ENDING MINUTES
Our youngest team showed how to fight and play for the colours of their team. They entered a very strong and competitive tournament with 9 players with the absences of Bogdan Ceha and Jovan Pandurovic and still non-healthy Uros Obradovic. In a jam-packed schedule, where breaks were sometimes only half hour, our 9 players played with brave and heart from first to last minute in all six games. It should be noted how our players put the pressure on the very strong team Toronto Eagles, who played with 14 players, in the last 5 minutes of the semi-final. They put in maximum effort and energy, poured in the last drop of their sweat, created chances and lost manly with only one goal in the net of spectacular Djordje Doslo. It should be pointed out that during the whole day our players left a great impression on the field as well as outside of the field. We have to believe in our players and after the return of Bogdan and Jovan as well as Rajko Colakovic after long absence, we are convinced that no one will be able to outplay this team in the second part of the season.
Pre-competition results: Тоrоntо Falcons~Armor Heights 3:1 (Uros Obradovic-3 goals) Тоrоntо Falcons~Hearts Azzuri 0:4 Тоrontо Falcons~Weston Wolves 1:3 (Nicholas Gauttirez) Тоrontо Falcons~Toronto Eagles 1:1 (Luka Milidragovic) Тоrontо Falcons~Bratford Eagles 1:0 (Uros Obradovic)
Semi-Finals: Тоrontо Falcons~Toronto Eagles 0:1
December 30, 2006 Two very successful training sessions of our team took place today. They were beneficial for players as well as parents since they also participated in four hour long training. Our youngest team is going to participate in a very competitive tournament on Thursday at the Hangar. The parents along with the coaches made the plan for that day. The first game is scheduled for 10:00am and all the players should be there by 9:30am. Everybody should bring water or juices; a sandwich is optional since pizza will be served during break time. There should not be any problems related to transportation as most of the parents will be there and if someone is unable to come we can make the necessary arrangements. The overall cost of the tournament, including pizza and two extra training sessions, will be $40 for rep team players and for the rest of the participants it will be $10.The team under 12 continues playing in the league competition on Friday at 9:00pm while the team under 11 will play at 8:00pm. The costs for the players from these two teams will be the same: $40 per player for rep team members played at tournament and $10 per players for others. The next training sessions are as per the regular schedule, after the Orthodox Christmas. We wish all our players lots of happiness, joy and good health in 2007!!! December 29, 2006 VERY GOOD PERFORMANCE OF OUR TEAM Our team under 12, played yesterday, together with three players under 11 in a very strong competition of Soccer World Tournament played at the Docks. In the preliminary group games, our team played three games and achieved the following results:
Toronto Falcons - Ajax Thunder 0:0 Toronto Falcons - North Toronto Nitros 5:0 Toronto Falcons - Sporting 10:0
As second place team from the group we qualified for the semi-finals where we played against the excellent team, Ajax Thunder. We were better, took the lead on time with 1:0 when Dusan Vrljes scored, but the opponent equalized from a counter attack. That was the only goal we received during the entire tournament. The drama occurred in the last minute as we had an enormous opportunity to win but unfortunately we missed the penalty. After the penalty shootouts, the opponent had more luck and went on to the finals. The overall impression is that we played better soccer and were the most qualified team in the tournament. This was a good preparation for the continuation of championship where we expect this team to continue its winning series and climb on the top in rankings. December 21, 2006 Soccer club Toronto Falcons was hosted this evening by Serbian White Eagles. In friendly game and friendly atmosphere, our team U10 has won by 14:7, in very interesting and nice play. Our team looked very confusing at the first half, mostly like of the conditions for play. In the second half our team was fully adapted showing very good quality. Tonight we enjoyed watching nice passing play, dribbling, saves and very friendly relationship between players at the end of the game. It was a nice evening for players and parents in well maintained and achieved relationship; will continue, we are sure. December 20, 2006 Good news for our players!
